3D Intarsia funny face Owl that can hold your eye glasses, the owl makes a great sculpture with a purpose. These are fun to make and can be made any color. 
Woods Used:  Spalted Maple for the body, Aspen for the white, Maple for the beak and feet, Redwood Burl for the center MD, and a little Peruvian Walnut for the dark pieces.
There are lots of instructions on the pattern along with many photos showing the different angles to help you.
Suggested Blades:       for the hardwoods.   for Western Red Cedar or any softwood. , or  to cut the interior lines (after the exterior lines are cut).
